I was born in the good year of 1973 in Painesville, Ohio. I have been around, involved with, learning or pursuing many aspects of art and it's history. I studied my foundation of art at the University of Cincinnati for 2 years. From there I transferred to the Cleveland Institute of Art where I majored in drawing and minored in illustration for 3 years. I've also studied fine art at Cleveland State and local community colleges. I have been tattooing now since 1998. I completed my apprenticeship at G&G Tattoos in Willoughby, Ohio and spent an additional 3 years there. The next 3 years were spent at Legendary Tattooz in Mentor, Ohio. I now have a home at North Coast Body Mod. where I can concentrate on custom work, as well as other avenues of art. I have fortunate enough to have been trained or influenced by such local talent as George Beifelt, Fingers, Toran Marshall, Chico, Dave and Natalie @ Voodoo Monkey, John and Joe @ G&G, Ron Antonick and crew @ Gen X, Brian @ Graphic Nature, Scott Santee @ High Street Tattoo and everyone else that I've been lucky enough to work with. I feel very fortunate to be able to do something I love and to be a part of a great community of people in this great artform. I have a great respect for those who have paved the way and those continueing to forge new paths in this industry. Some of my influences now include Shane O'Neil, Bob Tyrell, Cory Kruger, Mario Barth, Deano Cook, Rodney Raines, Tim and James Kern, Mike DeVries, Ron Meyers, Boris, Durb, Paul Aker, Steve Turner, Carson Hill, Gunnar and many,many others, thank you all. I want to give a shout out to Ken Ican at Liquid Skin for bringing me on board. I'd like to thank my friend Rich Kish for opening N.C.B.M., a kickass shop where I can pursue my goals. Last but not least, I want to thank my biggest influence and greatest supporter, my wife Becky. I would not be where I am now without her.
