Hello, my name is Isaac James, an 18 year old visual designs/fine art major at in Indiana. I have been taking interest in the art of tattooing for the last two years of my life and am seeking an apprenticeship to start after this fall college semester. I know I'm young and am excited about learning, as I am always open minded. I'm pretty much an art/comic book/horror flick nerd and get a lot of my influences from there.I find it sad that anyone expect anything more than to learn such a magnificent art form while undergoing an apprenticeship. I expect long hours, hard work with little/no pay, and all of my effort to earn my way into a seat in a respectable shop. I have ink done myself from the last few years done and have many influences throughout the tattoo community. I currently live in South Bend, IN. and am willing to make the move closer to the shop location.

hi i started tattooing 8 years ago did bout 30-40 tattoo's threw lots of tat parties. until the one time i did and get trashed i now know that was a bad idea well not so bad if i would of locked the car when i took all my stuff out see where im going with this, yep all was stolen. well i had alot of money in all that didnt get replenished for a while. hi im 26 i have been intrested in tattoos since a kid i have a folder i love to draw and alot of people have bought my art for tattoos but i have not been doing anything pro yet i have done tats with my own homemade gun and i take heavy precaution when it comes to blood born diseases i have never had anyone catch one im lookin for a teacher of some sort and am willing to do any thing to be a tattoo artist

Hi my name is Jena Adams but friends call me Mysterioz. I've been wanting to be a tattoo artist seance I don't even know lol. and I've been trying to get an apprentice ship for I don't know how long. it just don't seem like no one wants to train anybody. and I seem to be at a stand still in my search, but I'm not giving up at all I I'm so dedicated and willing to fight to get a chance to do this! its my dream and I want to tattoo artist more thin all of united states people want to hit the lotto, lol not kidding I cant tell you enough how much I want this.

Checked out the O.P.'s portfolio on myspace and gotta say good luck to whomever apprentices for Lord Mortis hahaha. Im always trying to give good advice for people looking to get in to the tattoo industry and if your truly wanting to learn dont settle for just anybody with a machine. Make sure there someone who you really want to learn from with great skill and can actually show you a thing or two. It takes alot of time and dedication and the best advice is draw, draw, draw. Your portfolio is what will make getting an apprenticeship easy or hard. Good luck to everyone.

Hi, my name is Gregg Kanefsky and I have been trying to learn tattooing on my own. I already have all the necessary tools and am just looking for the right teacher. I am very dedicated to the subject of tattoos and basically love every aspect of the industy. I've been searching far and wide and would love to become your apprentice so I can learn from an experienced tattoo artist and gain as much knowledge about the industry as possible.
