This tattoo started off with a cover up idea and ended up growing into a larger rib tattoo.  The size of the tattoo was designed to flow well with the contours of her body.  We added realistic elements as well as some illustrative styles to blend nicely together.  The overall concept is the connection we share with animal companions.  For a quick description on Foo Dogs, check out Wikipedia

We approached this tattoo with back-to-back sessions each month until finished.  It was intense for the client, but she persevered through each session until finished.
