This detail shot of the forearm shows the reworked portion of the sleeve, where I incorporated the old tattoo of song lyrics into the new tattoo by making parts of it look as though they're behind abstracted shards of glass. The lyrics happen to be from one of my favorite hardcore/punk bands Shai Hulud, off their classic album "Hearts Once Nourished With Hope And Compassion."
