I have a tat on my ankle that is almost 10 years old. One day as I was shaving over the tat, it was painful and a scab formed over part of the tat. I wasnt aware of that anything was wrong with my tat until that day, so I dont know if it had an existing scab, a bug bite or something else. Anyway, the tat continues to form scabs and won't seem to heal over and stop scabbing. Have you EVER heard of such? Could it be rejection after all these years? If it is rejection, what can be done about it? Its really beginning to worry me! If I go to a doctor, what kind of doctor should I go to, a dermatologist?
10 yr old tat starts scabbing and isnt well after almost 2 months

Dude, go to the doctor. If its spreading and not healing it could be flesh eating disease. A very common way of getting flesh eating is from cutting yourself while shaving. I dont mean to scare you but get it checked out ASAP
I don't think its a dude.......
