Altering Tattoo, Finding a Artist

2 messages · last activity 9/3/2009

Hi, About two years ago I got a horse tattoo on my back that kind of resembles the Godiva symbol. I didn't want it to look like that and had the artist draw me up something similar but different. I like the tattoo a lot and love what it standards for, but I want more shading and depth to it. Right now the horse and naked rider are just outlines. I am really looking for a reliable artist to add some pizazz and intricate detail to the work. BUT - I got the tattoo done in Texas and can't go back to the artist. Will anyone do my tattoo? I've heard that artist don't like to touch other people's work. Any ideas on how to broach the topic are much appreciated. Thanks all! Lady G - Erika
Well your best bet would be too go to or even call a few local shops around your area. Tell them whats going on and if there is anything they can do to help. I know of a few artist who won't pick up someone elses art but only for certain reasons. If most the tattoo is just outline im sure you won't have too hard of a time finding someone to help you out. Good luck to ya.
