For those of you wondering...with the current situation in Iraq I would say that an arabic tattoo just to follow a trend is a bad idea. That being said I believe that many people are just looking to get something that expresses their heritage. Others, like myself, are not of arabic decent, but think that language is beautiful and poetic. Arabic is a beautiful language and one of the oldest civilizations in the world. I try to keep politics out of this.
For those looking for an arabic tattoo or arabic translations (english-arabic/arabic-english) I am willing to help. I have been doing this for many years now. I do ensure all of my translations are accurate and I handwrite all of my translations because if you wanted a word document you would have downloaded a program. Feel free to contact me for any translations.
For those who are thinking about sending me hate mail because I am offer this up please keep in mind before you write me that the reason I speak arabic is because I was in the United States Marine Corps and was taught the language from scratch. I spent 10 years in the Marines and did three tours in Iraq and am more than willing to go back. The only reason I got out of the Marines in the first place was because they wouldn't let me go back to Iraq. So please keep your "traitor" comments to yourselves. I am sure anyone who would send me a message like that has likely never seen the face of war anyway and you comment will fall on dead ears as I have seen more faces of combat than I care to remember.
