I'm only 16 years old and am a passionate artist and it's my dream to become a well-known tattoo artist and shop owner. I'm currently researching about tattoos, the art, and everything about it. I don't know a crap load at the moment but I'm willing to take the time to know my stuff and I know that it can't be rushed, and I don't want to rush it. I'm a junior in high school and I'm looking into classes to take in college. Since I want to open my own shop some time in the future, I'm planning on majoring in business (minoring in studio art), but I don't know if there are any other classes I should take, like anatomy/disease type classes, to help me be a more knowledgeable tattoos artist/shop owner. If anyone can help, it'd be much appreciated.

I would recommend taking a college First Aid/CPR course when you're ready.
It's very useful knowledge to have AND it satisfies the PhysEd requirement at most colleges.
Take as many art classes as possible, figure drawing, painting, etc, even sculpture. They'll help you become a better artist, and therefore a better tattooist. Also, take a few anatomy and phisiology classes. Not only will they help you learn the human body as a subject, but you'll learn about the skin, how a tattoo affects the body, and how to complement the musculature with your designs.
Good luck.
