Artist's Wages

I was wondering if tattoo artists (who are non shop owners) are paid weekly, monthly or daily? What is usually the norm? Thanks, Teri

really depends on the owners policy and book keeping methods some are paid at the time of tattoo process some are paid at the shift or days end.there are those that get paid weekly or every two weeks.mainly depends on what is the easiest way for the shop owner/s. several ways to get paid.
