Hi. Like a lot of the people here who submit art for critique, I would love an apprenticeship, so I'm here to see what y'all think. I do my own designs for my tats, and I've been getting a bunch of requests, but I just don't know if I should even try at this point or wait. I love art and I love tats, so it would just be awsome if I can put those two together. OK! Enough blah blah blah-ing. I'd really appreaciate anything you can give me :) Thanks, Dorothy http://photobucket.com/albums/k310/dorothy_j/ look under 'butterfly' 'junk' 'tattoo' 'cg' and 'wall' (i'm too organized for my own good) thanks again
Thats the most amazing dead moth I have ever seen , I have never seen a dead moth drawn quite like that ever !!! Truly a masterpiece !!! Sorry but if your scratching with a pen its gonna be even 10 times worse with a tattoo machine !
your linework is shaky, your shading is asymmetrical, the ideas for work are mediorce at best.....you need to get into your head and see if you can pull some really awesome stuff out of there........you need to go hang out with tattooists ........get tattooed by someone good.....or a bunch of someones. That being said, if you have the tattooing bug, if you have to tattoo or die, if you live breath think and dream tattooing...............keep working on your art.......keep getting tattooed, by TALENTED, trained artists......keep building your portfolio till you have an awe inspriring collection........then maybe someday........far in the future.........you may be able to seek an apprenticeship with some one who can teach you the right way to do things.........For right now though, you just need to work on your art.....
