autoclave times and temps

I want to clear up and argument at the shop.... what is the correct temperature and pressure for a 30 minute cycle when autoclaving bagged tubes? Can you run a 12 minute cycle at a higher temp and pressure? ps no need to flip out just post the answer if you know it for sure....

Depends on manufacturers instructions for newer units. The standard answer is: Minimum 250 (121 C) degrees with 15 to 17 psi for 30 minutes.
