baby hand & foot prints

My boyfriend is really sticking with the handprint idea. I bought a hand & foot print kit and everything- problem is, my baby keeps his little fist balled up all the time. Then his foot print is a little better besides the big toe smearing! Is there any other way to accomplish this?

I tried to get my daughter's hand and foot prints too. The best way to get a foot print is to by a non toxic stamp pad and do it while your baby is sleeping.

Try going to the hospital were the child was born and see if you can get a copy. I recently had a baby girl and the hospital she was born at sent me copies in the mail.....

try stroking the back of the knuckles it worked for me. just keep stoking them and the hand will usally just relax and open if that dosent work do it in there sleep. hope this helps ~pamela~

yeah, i had a guy come in and get his son's foot prints tattooed to his side. he just brought a copy of the prints the hospital took the day he was born. they will have the records, you just have to ask them. that seems to work.
