BBP Training

What's the crack with BBP training? Can you do one of those online courses? Are they recognized? Would really appreciate any help - I'm in LA. Thanks everyone!
The "crack" on bbp training varies from state to state as well as county to county, so you would first want to check your local ordinances and state laws regarding what is accepted - whether it is an online course or if you need to enroll into a somewhat more formal class it does vary. On a personal suggestion I would recommend that you study the BBP training more in depth and go for the higher training route as opposed to the "just enough to get you by". The art of tattooing is also a huge responsibility both to yourself and you clients-and if you go with the attitude of "whatever dude...I just know enough" you are creating the possibilities for future illnesses and much worse. With infections such as MRSA around these days it is even more important that you understand what cross-contamination is and how to prevent it-what a FDA hospital level disinfectant can and cannot do etc...There are so many variables to go into that it would take more time to explain it...so I am just leaving it as that. In the town I live in -in order to do tattoos they require you to take their course in BBP-now in the next town over there is no such requirement--that is why I suggest you do your homework and find the crack out yourself.
