When I was deployed to the middle east in 2005 i was an advent fan of this site. I checked it everyday and kept up with all the topice in the forum. I asked back then what everyone thought about a non tattoo type opening a shop and having artists work for me. I got great adive. Needless to say I didn't do it. Seems all the advice I'm reading these days on the forum is the same I heard back then, 4 years ago. Solid. Well, now I have two really good friends that I met in the Army but got out years ago and since then got an apprenticehip and have been tattooing for just a few years. I again see it in my future to open a shop with these guys as they can do the art work while i handle the books, cross promotions, advertising, and all of the other logistics that would go into running a respectable shop. 1 manager 1 tattoo artist, 1 tattooist/piercer highly motivated. Can it happen?
yes it can happen and seeing as you have dwelled (per say) into the art more seriously i think you could stand a better chance at making a sucess. e mail me with any other Q.&A
