Can i get a tattoo on top of a birthmark?

I have a birthmark on my calf and cause of it i refuse to wear short or skirt cause i am self consious about it...So i want to put a tattoo on it so that i can also enjoy wearing short and skirt especially in the hot summer weather...Anyway my question is if it's possible to get a tattoo on a birthmark and what kind of tattoo that look's simple, pretty and classy that i can put on my calf ????
