Can I paint an aluminum frame? if so, what kind of paint? should I sand it first? I have a G4 Aluminum... Thanks.

Sure ya can,may need a specific primer.Have you thought about anodizing?Years ago I read an artical in a hot rod magazine and it doesn't seem like it'd be to hard to do at home.
Don't know how to anodize,seems complex... My Flatine is anodized aluminum though... Hmmm, any other thoughts?
Powder coat is real nice but in my experience the turn around time is too long and those guys always have an excuse as for why your stuffs not ready yet.Again can be done at home but is smelly,put an old oven outside and do it.
