Last year I had a close friend/ex-boyfriend committ suicide. Two months later the same thing happened with another close friend. Both of these people meant a lot to me, and had a huge impact on my life. I want to get one tattoo that can be meaningful and in memory of both of them. I have no idea what to get...any suggestions?

My neace was murdered when she was 18 months old and since then i knew i wanted to get a tattoo in memory of her. I love butterflies and whenever i visit her i will take her a butterfly. there really special to me. So i got a butterfly on my lower back, and the butterflies body has be transformed to make the initals of my neace and my nephew (who now lives with me). Maybe you could so something hidden and meaningful like that.
My mom was very depressed and tried to kill her self 2 times and killed herself on the third time the day after my 14th birthday and we barried her the day after christmas I want to get a tattoo to symbolize how great she was... she was a nurse and one of the nicest people I know

Owl I think you are wrong. Not every collector is a great designer.
Some times you have the pieces but you just can't put them together.
The job of a great tattoo artist or designer is to be able to make out of these clues awesome and unique pieces.
To the Poster: Start researching about great artist in your area, they will help you in that matter.

it sounds to me like you all have the pieces and ideas you want. my advice is take it a good tattooist. alot of tattooists will sit with you and go over the design and brainstorm. alot of them come up with amazing pieces. good luck to you all!
