Attention artists,
Please give me some advice. I have been working on my tattoo for almost a year and near completion. However, I have not went back for at least 3 months because one part was colored too dark and hard lines instead of soft flowing design as I had requested. I started with a rose on my right thigh and added a row of roses that ran up my back, curved around to my right should; growing smalled and lighter in color. Then I went back to have vines added for a soft, flowing affect. The top cam out beautifully, just what I wanted. But as it trailed back down the lines got harder and darker. In my mind it looked like thorns. Needless to say I cried for days and would not let my husband look at it, nor would I talk about it. I am just now getting to where I am comfortable when he looks at it and ready to get shading down to soften it up. I love having a tattoo, but do not feel like it is soft and womanly.
Is there any way that white or yellow added will help? I want to be proud of my tattoo again; the entire tattoo, not just the top and bottom half.
One more addtion, I am getting married in May and hope that this can be done soon. Married on the beach, low cut back and it will show.
Please help! :)
Can this be fixed? some lines too hard, not flowing

Of course it can be done by May. Though your description of it leaves little to the mind, your artist may have something intended for those thicker lines toward your lower back once the shading and color is complete. If you are unhappy with the artists work entirely, I would suggest seeking an artist in your area that is well recognized with a well known reputation of being outstanding. You may find they are booked. This does not mean you can't be seen soon, but perhaps it will cost you to be bumped up his calendar.
