COLOR!?!?

i would like to get a rather small tattoo on my fore arm of a biblical word (Selah) and in my head i like the idea of it being a red/brown/rust color so it kind of blends with my skin rather than sticking out like black would because i am really fair. my problem is i don't want it too look like a dirt stain or something, does anyone have any suggestions or ideas, i figure most of you guys know ALOT more about tattoos than i do :)
