Custom Artists around NC/SC/VA

I moved up here to North Carolina a while back. I'm looking for suggestsion on an artist that does high extremely high quality custom work that is within a few hours drive. I live in Raleigh now, so anywhere within North Carolina is good, and I would consider driving to South Carolina or Virginia if I had to. I'm kind of anal about picking an artist though. I want every tattoo to be stunningly awesome. So far I haven't had much luck finding the right place up here. Any suggestsions?
