Depression - Meaningful tattoo

Hi, I've recently been diagnosed with depression. I would like to get a tattoo that represents and reminds me that i never want to go back to that stage in my life, that i never want to feel that way again and that i can feel proud that i've overcome it. I would like it to be a small tattoo as it would be my first. Has anyone got any ideas? Thank you!!
