Design of tattoo "Joshua"

I am looking to get a tattoo on my lower back with my son's name Joshua on it, but I am not sure what kind of font will look good and if i should get a design around it or what. If anyone has any good ideas please let me know. I am planning on getting it done this Saturday the 19th, so please give me some ideas. Tracy

Well I have a good idea of what I am going to get someone gave me this idea and I think it is creative and unique and it's going to look great when it is done. I'm going to do my son's name JOSHUA in block letters and have each letter in a block - if you remember those ABC wooden blocks we had as kids, it's going to look like that spelling out his name and I am going to have it outlined in baby blue color. Probably on my lower back. It's simple yet cute and fits a child's name tattooed to one's body. But i'm open to other ideas, so if anyone has any please email me and let me know. Tracy

I want to get my sons name tattooed on my body probably my lower or upper back. I want to get something else with it or a design that will make it unique, not JUST his name. His name is John Nicholas. If anyone has any ideas please let me know.

Well.. i am thinking about gettin both of my chidrens names on myslef as well.. i am getting my 2yr old son, Eliajah going across my right upper arm with a tribal around it and my 2 month old son, Avin. on my left sholderblade witha tribal around it as well...

I really like the block letter idea but just make sure you go to a good solid artist to get it done and have them draw it up. If not done right the outcome might not be so good and you're point not come across as you wished. Cool idea though! Post a pic when you're done...

there is a very simple solution to all of your problems... go to the best shop in your town, and ask them to draw something up for you.. most reputable shops will ask for a deposit so make sure you have money and are looking to get tattooed within a decent amount of time.. and they should come up with some different ideas for you.. the key is to listen to your tattoo artist's advice.. I don't think an online forum will help you come up with the best tattoo, especially over going to your local tattoo artist.
