Different Machines

I love tattoos and highly respect the art... I'm curious, though, I study the art out of sheer curiosity. I'm no artist whatsoever, but I see you mention liners and shaders, pretty easy to figure those out... but I came across a blog that mentioned "color tattoo machines". Is there a third type of machine specifically for color? Sounds kinda strange, but what do I know? I'm not an artist!

color packers. not a different machine or anything real special.although some artist tune there machines differently,liner,shader colorpacker or color machine.i personally have a machine tuned and used for just black shade work and then i have one tuned for color,and or tribal.boil it down its how you tune your machine and coil size and other aspects that are in the realm of tunning your machine.the color packer is tuned for just that and you can buy them pre set and tuned for color. hope this helped answer the question.
