does being intoxicated efect tattoo out come

i was drinking one night while i was geting tattooed the tattoo turned out like shit he said it was becouse i was drinking is this true????????

was the "artist" drinking too? booze and getting tattooed dont mix. avoid this dumb move at all costs. most respectable artists wont tattoo someone if they are drunk.

i think my question is more along the line of the way the skin takes a tattoo while drinking and no the artist was sober.i am aware that its not smart to get a tattoo while drinking but i have several tats and had it well thought out before geting it .gabe if your around id like your input on my QUESTION

If you're drinking excessively you're going to bleed more, as alcohol thins the blood. With excessive bleeding theres more of a chance the ink won't take well. I don't think the post before mine was meant to be rude, I think it was just implying most artists aren't gonna be all about tattooing someone while they're throwin them back, so that fact may or may not reflect on the quality of the artist in general.
