i was wondering if gettin a tatto would hurt me gettin jobs in my career as a business man mainly on the stock market the tattoo i wanted was goin to be placed on my forearm am open to your replies so please reply
Well, I have a tattoo on my forearm, and I work as a computer tech. in public schools. Every job interview I ever went on since getting my arm tattooed, I wore long sleeves so it wasn't an issue. Once I got the job and started to wear short sleeves, not everyone notices my tattoo since it's on the inside of my arm. The only way I think it would be a problem, is if the tattoo itself is questionable or offensive. I'd stay away from skulls, and demons, etc... And wouldn't you mostly be wearing long sleeves anyway? Plus, society is becoming a lot more tolerant of tattoos. Just because you've been inked, does NOT mean you've been to jail. I know a lot of "respectable" people who are tattooed. I even know a church-going grandmother who just got her first tattoo. So I say go ahead, get inked!!!! Have fun!!!!
yeh man thanks i was goin to get a religious piece all around my arm with roses and angels and a portrait of my mom at a convention am still in school so i was just wondering but thank you and am gonna get inked
Stock broker's are in the public eye a lot -- I know, I was one for about a month! :-) If you're a trader on the floor, I doubt anyone would care 'after' they got to know you! Get somethin tasteful and world-class and you will have less of a problem.
