General question here. I recently got a tattoo of a nautical star on my leg. I've had it about 2 months or so now and it's faded a little. is it normal that it faded so quickly?

nope shouldnt fade for long time or at least the ones i apply to my clients dont
If it is getting a lot of sun, it will fade. Sun is bad news for tattoos. If your out in the sun and wearing something that exposes your tattoo, put a heavy duty sunscreen on it. I use Coppertone continuous spray SPF 50. It is easy to get anywhere, I can do my own back with it.
a properly applied tatto will not fade within 2 months of application. yes use sun screen that is good advice. could have been a inferior ink used
