my fav is definately Renaissance Art and Icons from the 1300's- 1500's (the earlier the better in my opinion) also love Klimt saw a great exhibit of his including landscapes when i visited Vienna and Mucha, LOVE art deco! I have a passion for fabric and I love how these paintings capture the look, details and even the feel of fabrics

I dont draw, but if I did non-tattoo people I would study would start with (in no order): the best of Frank Miller Durer most renaissance art Dali Franzetta Dave McKean Whacked out religious propaganda (for art and storytelling) Escher Gaither and some aquantinces and Hope Gallery hangouts, Travis Louie, Robert Craig, and Mark Elliot. jeese, there are so many more....
