Finding a tattoo!

Hello everyone! Sorry for the bad english in advance, im not good at english! I need some help finding a tatto. Allways wanted a tatto but never seen anything I wanted so now I have been looking for 5 years allmost. It has allways been leaning towards the Asian directions. But koi fishes and such was either to "regular" och way too as i see it "mafia" for my taste. Not juding anyone but just didnt fit my taste. So anyway for inspiration and since it's a good show I started watchin Miami Ink when it started to show in sweden. And there it was a tattoo that looked so good! I don't want the exact tattoo but inspiration, have 2-3 friends that are very good at painting etc that could probably turn it into something more personal for me. But me being so bad at explaning I can't explain how did it look and everything they have done is not close to what I saw. Anyway It was made by Ami James on the left upper shoulder. It was lotus flowers over a black background with what some asian build in signs. The tattoo was freestyled and the guy said Ami do something for me more or less and Ami decided for him. As you see I suck at describing. Yes I have searched for the episode. Been surfing internet for hours and hours, reading episodes guides.. checked homepages.. but I just can't find it! Please help!!! Next step will be calling the network or geting intouch with the miami ink or something but that feels so lame!

Its good that you have gotten intrested. But first thing you have to remember is "The best tattoo is a unique tattoo" Its alright to get inspired by a tattoo you see, but as you said, Ami did it freehand. So its custom tattoo. And custom tattoos are, as you said, something for your self. And tattoo artists are just like Ami when they are good. They can turn your thoughts and wishes into a tattoo that you wish. You just have to find out a good artist. And there are plenty of good japanese artists in Sweden. So the thing that you see on TV isnt the best choice, because its on somebody else. It fits there body and its custom made just for them. So thats why its important to get a unique tattoo.
