Foot Tattoo Helllpp

I really badly want to get a tattoo on my inner foot. It would be a phrase in black script that would extend the length of my foot. I have been researching it a lot and understand the basics of it. My real concern is this: I would only have about 2.5 days after the tat where I could be completely barefoot to let it heal. Then I would be going to a concert, and would have about 1.5 days after that. Then I have to go back to school from 7:30ish to 2:30 ish every day. The tattoo would have to be covered at school to some extent. Is it worth it to get it done now or should I wait until a later time when it would be able to heal better? Also, if it's just black script will it fade and blur as severly? I don't want to have to get it retouched if its at all possible. Thanks for any help!

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but that's a really bad place for a tattoo. Read through the 'foot tattoo' threads here and you'll see that most tattoo artists don't recommend the inside of the foot. It just doesn't heal well, no matter how well you treat it, and even if it does, it starts fading away almost immediately. I promise you if you get it there, you'll regret it, and every time you see it you'll think to yourself, "I wish I would have listened to the guy on that message board."

even tho the guy above me gave you the best advise you could get, chances are, you probably want it bad enough to get it anyway. so this being said...wait. its bad enough that suckers gonna fade like crazy, you dont want to help it look bad by not letting it heel the best it can. it doesnt matter that there isnt color, its going to fade and need re-touching because of placement. my best advise, listen to the guy above me. but if you dont, just wait.
