getting certified

ive ben tattooing for about a year now. I had an apprenticeship but once i finnished it i hade to stop goin up to that studio(long story) and i no i have to take cpr classes and some other classes. i was just wondering what other stuff i needed to do to be certified to do tattoos. cause i want to do everything right. i no you wont post any help for tattoing tips for ppl who just started, but this is a lil differnt. i just want to be as proffessinal as i can be. any help would would be great.

You'd have to check your local regulations on that one as it varies from state to state, and the towns and juristrictions inbetween. One thing to keep in mind is that you can never learn too much, so you don't necessarily have to stop at what the regulations say you need.

Go to www.tattoojoy.com and you will find all the SYATE laws then you will have to contact your LOCAL authorities ( usually the health dept) and get btheir rules...TAz

so i went to tattoojoy.com and it didnt really help me out,(well i learned the laws so it did) but i guess i asked the wrond question.i tried to order some stuff from cam and i needed to send my tattoo or business license to them. i do tattoos out of my house and use dispsable shit. and make sure everything is cleaned and than check again just because im at my house doin them. so how could i get around this to order stuff? or can i get a tattoo licence without working somewhere? im in michigan. any help would be nice
