GETTING DISCOURAGED

5 messages · last activity 8/12/2007

I have been trying to look for a tattoing job here in the Bay Area(San Francisco) I did my apprenticeship under James "Ice" Johnson and Robert Briere of Iceman's Tattoos, here in the City I works for them for 5 years untill the death , sadly, of Robert. The pronblem is I have been away from tattooing for almost 10 years raising my children and being a full time mother. Now that my children(at last) are school age......I am ready to go back to work. I have tattooed here and there, guesting at a couple of places for the day, just to keep my hand in, but I find that my skills are a little rusty...Does anyone have any good advise for someone trying to get back in......should I reapprentice just to catch up on all the latest techniques?? Should I look for independent clients willing to take a chance on someone who's skills are not what they should be?? I really could use some help , and or advise
I am very new to this posting thing so I think I made my pic too blurry but I wanted to show that I was not just talking out of the side of my neck...this was done by me @Jctattoos in San Francisco. a few years ago......thank you to Jc for letting me use chair space for the day for this
can't see it worth a shit to give any feedback
Wow, are you a troll? Its obvious from the picture why you can get a job.... er, am I missing something? in any event, dont get discouraged, get better at your art!
