GODDAMNIT!!!!

Goddamnit guys! I was just coming around a corner through my back door and took out my shoulder on my iron fountain hanging on the wall...Guess which fucking shoulder? So I got looking and it looks like I took a bit of a piece out of my shoulder in the area of the cloud work. SHIT! What do I do for it if anything? Will it heal up correctly?

way to go, ya clumsy goofball! How big a chunk did ya take out of your shoulder? If it's relatively small and not real deep, I think you'll be ok.

Third Dan taken out by a iron fountain, that's gotta be a first (Clutz!) actually can't really predict the outcome. If ya gashed it enough to bleed could possibly do some minor damage, if so, I'd suggest a light application of Bacitracin and just waiting 'til it's healed. Damn I hope ya didn't mess it up but sometimes it does heal back okay, just gotta wait and see. If ya did take a bit of skin out of it, you might try a product called Mederma (sold at most better drug stores) to minimize the scarring. Beware of your surroundings, Grasshopper...Do

Hey shut up you two buttholes!! That thing jumped out at me from nowhere!! Sneaky bastard! Didn't telegraph it's intent or anything!! Was just like being back in the jungles... except that I was never in the jungles... but If I had been, that would have been just exactly what it was like, and besides, I was sort of half asleep!!

Al, When I used to drive truck for a living, well, this was back in 1987, one year after I got my tats on my arms, I pulled over to take a nap early one morning. I was driving this old Freightliner cab over, and it had this huge 'doghouse' cover between the seats and over the engine, and I would lay across it to sleep. So it's dead of winter, and I've got the engine and heater running while I'm pulled over on this freeway on ramp for about an hour. I wake up with my arms numb, and the sun is starting to come up. I jump back into the seat and start driving with my right arm completely asleep. A half hour goes by, and my arm is still very numb, and finally after about 45 minutes, some of the sensation began to return. The first thing I felt was itching on my outer upper arm, so I casually reached up to scratch it, and then noticed that there was a huge raised welt with a deep round hole in the center of it, straight through the ink of my tat!! It turns out that my arm was lying against two live auxillery CB radio 12V terminals, well threaded metal studs actually, and as I napped, the current was flowing from one, though my arm to the other, numbing my arm, and burning a nice cauterized hole, which is still there to this day...........................at least until July 26th, when my man will work his cover up magic. Other than that one incident, I've cut the shit out of all of my tats at one time or another, and it has never caused permanent damage. TCE
