Grip Rubbers

Hello everyone, quick question. I have been using the grip Rubbers from Technical tattoo supply, and on there site they say they are fully autoclavable. However, I have used 2 now and both split down the side when I autoclaved them. Should I take them off the grip before autoclaving? Thanks for any replies
You should take them off to clean them, but they still shouldn't crack, try the Red Rat covers from Pulse. I've had them for about 6 months and they're fine.
I agree, I've been using the ones from pulse for 6 months and they get autoclaved twice a day or more and I've had no problems.
thanks for the replies. Are you guys putting them through the autoclave on or off the grips??
off
A three piece tube should be autoclaved in three pieces...so, yea...they should MOST DEFINATELY be off the tube.
They didn't start making them in three pieces just so you would have the fun of putting them together once. They are in three pieces so as to be easier to clean, and the steam would be forced into smaller spaces.
