Hampton, VA Tattoo Artists

I am getting married in Hampton, VA at the beginning of August and while my dad is out visiting from California for the wedding, we were talking about getting tattoos together. To clarify, he will be adding to a previous tattoo and I will be getting my first. That being said, I have been coming up with the groundwork for a tattoo that will have a lion's head on the outer part of my shoulder. My design then has the mane of the lion flowing down into a tribal tattoo that vaguely resembles the word "Pride." The tribal tattoo would be like others in that it wraps around my arm near the top of the bisep. However, I am no artist, and the design, although very good for my abilities, is nowhere near the level of work I would want in a tattoo thats going to be with me for life. I was hoping to find an artist in the Hampton area that could custom design a tattoo off of my basic design and was hoping to get some suggestions. Thanks in advance for any direction you can steer me in.
