My sister is 5 years older than me and has been battling cervical cancer for almost 3 years now. She just found out a few weeks ago that it's back and spreading. I want to get a tatoo to honor her and show that I'm always here to support her because she's been so brave through all of this. Are there different colors and or symbols for different types of cancer? Or is it just the pink ribbon?

I am so sorry to hear that :(
The best thing I think is to go to a really good custom artist Look trough the tattoo artist in Ohio When you go to a custom tattoo artist, you can talk to him/her about what you have in mind. Maybe tell them what you love about your sister, what makes her what she is. Then they can design you a tattoo that will represent her as you would like her to be, and like she is :) Totally unique and wonderful.
Dont give up and all will be well "Hugs"
I'm so sorry. I found your post through a search of my own. I am getting a cancer ribbon tattoo in a week for my boyfriends mom who died of stomach cancer and my grandmother who currently has terminal lung cancer. There are specific colors for various kinds of cancer. Cervical cancer is teal and green together. Again, I'm so sorry to hear this, stay strong for her.
Teal and green. Thank you soo much for finding that for me. I've been looking everywhere and haven't found anything.
So sorry for your sis AND for you!
Find a competent custom tattoo artist and enlist their aid to come up with a design...thats their job hon!
Good luck and I will say a prayer for you both...mahalo!
