How is The Economy affecting Business at your shop!

yeah it is sucking pretty bad as of late , we are in a poor area to begin with but we struggle now so it is just finding a way to get people back in spending
We are seeing cancelations more than normal. Also, folks have less to spend per session. Tough times will weed out those who arent as talented and the ones who dont work as hard. Hopefully it wont take out everyone... ack. The Paradise Tattoo Gathering is doing great, many tattoo artists are managing to fly in from all over to attend, it would be crazy to see how many people would show up if the economy wasnt tanking...
business has come to a halt here!
Speaking to a number of artists I think the consensus is still is slowing down. Seems like last minute cancellations are becoming quite frequent along with sessions being shortened from a full day to half. I've also noticed a bit of an on slot of people revisiting the trade system. If we can't get paid to work, might as well trade our work for something we would otherwise pay for, right?
Hopefully everyone harvested their nuts over the summer, so this winter we won't all starve ;)
It's opposite here in FL. Summer is slow, but as tourist and snowbirds start to trickle down after thanksgiving, business should pick back up.
yea, alot of shops around here are closing up. i wanted to get into tattoos but ive changed my mind now. im gonna be a landscaper instead.
