How long does the average Tattoo take to shed the dead skin and become normal feeling skin?

Everyone is different, and healing time can vary. I've had tattoos start peeling after 2 days and some that took nearly a week. I'd say for the most part 3 weeks is a pretty good range for a tattoo to start looking and feeling completely normal. But like I said, I've had significantly shorter, and longer heals, but I'd expect peeling within a week.
