how many sittings for this?

hi. i have decided to get a pair of sparrows for my first work, one on each side, under my collarbone. they will be about 3X4 or 4X3 inches...it is normal to get both of them done in one day? is it also problematic to have them both tended too while they heal? thanks for any helpful posts in advance.
