When I was 16 I got a lotus tattooed on my lower back, about 4 inches wide x 2.5 inches tall, in the center. Ten years later I am regretting the choice of location, is there anything I can do to tone down the "tramp-stampness" of this tattoo? I would rather not get it removed, but perhaps I can get more tattooed around it? How might I incorporate it into something more tasteful?
How to "fix" a "tramp stamp"?

This is why I have a "no one under 18" policy regardless if CT says it is ok...
Honestly---go to a local tattoo shop and talk to some of the artists there for ideas on how to make your tattoo more of what you are about now as opposed to when you were 16. Just remember the area that you were tattooed in regardless of the design will always be considered a tramp stamp---unless you go up higher into your mid back area or more.
NY is filled with awesome artists---I am sure you will find one!
