First off, let me start off by saying it is my choice to get a tattoo and if I regret it in 10 years, thats my problem, not yours. So please dont tell me about how you got a tattoo and regreted it and how I am too young to decide if I want a tattoo or not. Ok so heres my story: I am going to be 16 in november and i want to get a tattoo for my birthday. I used to live with both of my parents. Id live with my mom for a week and my dad for a week. But then I told my dad that I dont want to live with him any more. So I live with my mom most of the time now and I go to visit my dad every other weekend. The court order still says that I am supposed to be living with my mom and dad both though for equal amounts of time. My mom is letting me get the tattoo, She said she will take me. I dont know what my dad will do if he finds out. All i want to know is, do I have to have both parents permission, could my dad get the guy that gave it to me in trouble, and could he get my mom in trouble. If anyone knows, please let me know.
I am 16 and getting a tatoo: Is it legal?

You only need one parent's consent.
Actually, going by the precise wording of the law In PA, technically, it would
appear that you'd need both-
Pennsylvania Statutes
