i need to know if its infected...

i just got my tattoo about 6-7 days ago , and ive been noticing that its been red and really sore in some spots still. i've been taking care of it the same way ive taken care of my other 3. but this has never happened with my other ones. she cleaned my leg with alcohol and some other stuff before she did it , but she didnt shave the part of my leg where she did the tattoo , so i was wondering if the hairs could be coming in to irritate it or they used different ink. i dont know if i should be freaking out or not.
