i want to tat...

i have been tattooing on my own for a while. i want to get in a shop and learn some new things. i am doing great for a beginer and have done work better then a pro has done on me. how sad is that when a pro does worse then a beginer... so lame. but how do i get into a shop so i can learn? its so complicated!

FairyGirl... I understand the passion aspect of wanting to tattoo- and it isn't easy to break into a shop as someone who has been tattooing with no training. Now I am not saying it is impossible- if your art is as good as you say it is your best bet is to dust off your portfolio and start hitting the streets and shops. Be prepared for a lot of them to say no-but someone will say yes eventually and you will most likely need to start as an apprentice first but the education you can get with the right person is truly priceless and well worth the hunt.
