Idea,but no image

I want to get a tattoo, i have an idea of what i want but i cant really picture it fully yet. I want it going from just around my shoulder down the side of my arm to the inside of my elbow. Now if anyone is willing to try an draw or sketch this for me, here is my idea: In the future i want to have a one piece tattoo that spreads from shoulder to shoulder,but ime only starting now with it on my arm,so ime looking for something that will look fine alone and then can fit in with the theme later on. So i want it to be tribal,(not pitch black)with shading.I want it to be wing like, with the lines in the shape of feathers of a big bird,wrapping around each other going down my arm into the crevice of my elbow. Im not sure what would really look good but i dont think having the feathers tightly packed would look great. Anyway if any of that makes any sense, i would really like if someone could try design something. Thanks very much!

Your best bet my friend is to sit down with your artist and tell him/her your ideas. If he/she is a capable artist there should be no problems bringing your ideas to life.

Silverblade...I'm sure any artist that posts on this forum could do your design justice...you have some good ideas...but what ya need to do is go to a competent custom tattoo artist and have him/her design it for you...thats their job...if you tel us where ya are we can recommend someone or click on the artist list on this site and find a kickass artist...thanks for your post...TAz

yup. people seem to have the idea that you are supposed to go to a tattoo shop with the picture of exactly what you want in your hand, and thier job is to transfer it on to you. Not true!! a good tattoo artist is just that... an artist! They know how to take an idea and create the perfect piece of art for your body. And they love to do it. You seem to have a pretty good idea of what you want, now take that idea to a custom artist and get an awesome tattoo! good luck...
