infected tattoo?

so i got my second tattoo 2 days ago on the back of my neck and theres been alot of discharge coming out of it but the skin around it isnt red or anything and it dosnt hurt its just really gross. my first tattoo didnt do this and i got this tattoo at the same place and i know that it wasnt them but how do i fix this? I called the guy and he said just to continue to wash it and apply neosporin is this right? also will my tattoo be ok i dont want it to look bad becuase of this i have taken care of it i dont know why this happened..
