Ink (Re-using?)

I will be getting a tattoo soon, but have a question about ink. Is it safe to reuse tattoo ink (My artist says they sterilize it)? Said otherwise, is it possible to sterilize ink?

If your meaning from the bottle that the ink comes form then yes its ok. As long as the guy isnt putting the ink back in after he or she is done using it from a previous tattoo (nasty!). Make sure that they pour the ink in a cap in front of you. Same as opening new needles and sterile tube
