Ink spreads after a minor injury in tat area?

Ive had my tat for 12 yrs and still looks great....no touch up needed with color or anything. I accidently walked into a pretty big tree limb (dont ask) and it slightly punctured a part of the outline and now seems that there's some line fade and is bruised underneath.Will the line return to normal or will this require touch up? Thanks

Most likely, you'll need a touchup if you broke the skin. Sorry to hear about your mishap.
