I got a wrist tattoo last night. Its a light colored one, so I feel like the artist pressed down harder than usual (my last one was about 6 or 7 years ago, so my pain memory is hazy).
Right now, it looks and feels like it should, a little red, a little swollen. But there seems to be a few of tiny lacerations on and around it. What I would assume are needle drags or skin punctures from the needle.
This is the first tattoo I been able to look at while it heals (the others are ankle, back and hip ones), so this might be normal and I just dont know.
So is that normal? Or did my artist press too hard? Will it scar and compromise the design? Is there anything I can do to help this heal?
Is this okay?
