italian tattoos

i would like to know if anyone can translate correctly.. beloved grandfather or in loving memory of grandfather in italian so i can get it tattooed ?

Nella memoria loving del nonno> Is in the loving memory of grandfather...... and beloved grandfather is Nonno Caro

I think the translations are different depending on what part you are from - sicilian translates grandfather into nanoo ---

the problem with translating that is that it is an english idiom, it cant be directly translate in italian, the best that i would say you could get would be "in memory of beloved grandfather", which translates as "nella memoria di gandfather caro" , hope that helps a little,

i can speak fluent italian and okay with writing in italian but i'll do my best. nella memoria del mio caro nonno translates to In memory of my dear grandfather

could anyone please translate "lord protect me" or "father protect me"
