Try this once more and hope I got the spelling right this time! Hey Joe I stopped by your booth at Hell City, but oh my goodness you were so busy I did not want to bother you. Then was I pissed when I could not stay till your book signing, my fault not yours. You may have taken notice I was the little guy with the raccoon in his pocket, if you saw me you understand the description. I think everybody should buy your book it is that great! I would love for you to let us know where and when they become available to buy. Thanks! [email removed]
Joe's books are awesome so get yourself a copy of "What's Not Ta Like" as well as his Sketch Book. Both were unveiled at the Hell City convention this past weekend to much success. Such an incredible collection of art put together by one of the best and nicest guys in the business. They are a must for every pinup fan on the planet. You rock Joe, congrats. Larry
Hey there "Racoon in your pocket", thank you so very much. We had the Release at Hell City (one of the best shows in the US at the moment), and it was fantastic. Sorry you couldn't stick around for it. We did a gallery show featuring some 40 pieces of original art from the books, as well as a bunch of prints for sale. We showed all that starting Saturday morning, and waited to release the book for sale Saturday evening (many very unhappy people were turned away all day when they couldn't get the book till 8pm). Imagine my surprise (and sheer terror) when I arrived at 8:15 to a line that started at the back of the room, and slowly snaked its way out the door, and down the freakin hall! I can honestly say I was a bit shaken when signing that first of many books. I'd like to thank everyone who attended the Hell City signing, and who supported, and purchased the book, and art. I'd also like to thank Eric, Tarra, and Kevin, for helping out that evening. Especially Jessica, for helping out all weekend, and running the whole shebang. And a special thanks to DURB for giving us such a great venue to debut our project. More thanks will follow, as well as a date that you'll be able to order the book via mail. Gabe has been gracious enough to announce it here on Tattoo Now. I'll also be making an announcement on my site www.joecapobianco.com. Keep an eye to the sky, and an ear to the ground, it's coming soon.... Regards J.Capobianco p.s. Hey Larry thanks, hope the painting looks goodwith the rest of your kick ass collection. It was good seeing the two of you this weekend. Take care, see ya soon...
Always good to see you too Joe. The painting is already hanging at home and looks awesome. Thanks a million. Don't forget to keep me in mind when you do the Mummy and or Wolfman. Larry
