just a question

hello, i just got a quick question for you guys...does anyone know what the term riding the needle mean? becuase someone asked me if i was riding the needle or the tip, and i though he was asking if i was pushing the machine or pulling it...apparently that wasnt it..well thanks for the time.....peace

whoever asked u about riding the needle obviously didnt think u where worthy enough to correct you on you comment of pushing or pulling the needle!

well he said that definetly was not the answer....and also said he wasnt going to just give me the answer on a silver platter....which i dont expect....but i have check alot of forums and read some archives and wow....not a damn thing.....so i asked here...i thought maybe someone here knew what was up....thanks
